Apantac Shows New Products for CRESCENT Line of Signal Processing Solutions at IBC 2010

Apantac LLC is adding three new products to its new CRESCENT line of compact signal processing solutions at IBC 2010, booth no. 13.A16.

The new products in the CRESCENT series include a 1x8 Reclocking Distribution Amplifier, an SDI to HDMI / DVI Converter with looping outputs and integrated 1x2 SDI distribution amplifier, and an SDI Deembedder with integrated 1x2 SDI distribution amplifier.

Existing CRESCENT series products include a 1x4 Reclocking Distribution Amplifier and an HDMI to SDI Converter. The entire range of CRESCENT products are compact signal processing solutions for a variety of broadcast and professional AV applications. They are enclosed in metal housings and include a magnetic pad for flexible mounting. They all come standard with 5V DC external locking power supplies.

The 3G-SDI 1x8 Distribution Amplifier (model: DA-8HD) accepts one SD-SDI, HD-SDI or 3G-SDI input, provides equalization and reclocking, and distributes the signal to eight outputs. It supports resolutions up to 1920x1080p and can deliver eight 3G sources up to 140 meters away.

The SDI to HDMI / DVI Converter (model: DA-SDI-HDTV) has an integrated 1x2 Distribution Amplifier that supports two reclocked SDI outputs. It converts an incoming SD-SDI, HD-SDI or 3G-SDI signal into an HDMI or DVI signal. It also includes embedded AES or Analog Audio monitoring outputs where any stereo audio pair from four groups of embedded audio can be selected for audio monitoring.

The 3G-SDI Deembedder (model: DA-SDI-DE) has an integrated 1x2 Distribution Amplifier that supports two reclocked SDI outputs. The audio deembedder decodes and extracts 16 channels of embedded audio signals and outputs them to eight AES or 16 analog discrete audio outputs.Any stereo audio pair from the four groups of embedded audio can be selected for audio monitoring.
