Apantac to Showcase SDVoE Smart SDM Cards at InfoComm 2023

SDVoE-logoApantac, manufacturer of multiviewers, video walls, extension, and signal processing solutions and celebrating 15-years of innovation, will showcase three SDVoE Smart SDM interfaces at the upcoming InfoComm 2023, on booth 4021.

Apantac has been an SDVoE alliance member since 2021. Applications that demand zero-latency and uncompromised video can benefit from SDVoE technology, common control APIs, and interoperability. SDVoE architecture offers substantial cost savings and greater system flexibility and scalability over traditional approaches, such as closed proprietary systems, point-to-point extension and circuit-based AV matrix switching.

Apantac SDM Interface cards (based on Intel® Smart display Module Platform) simplify display & video wall installations, save space, reduce costs, reduce components - cabling, provide format flexibility, and future-proof format support. The Apantac SDM “smart” interfaces slot directly into SDM-capable displays and projectors, powered directly from the display.

The three Apantac SDM cards that support SDVoE include the SDM-SDVoE-R, SDM-FIB-R, and SDM-FIB-R-Pro. These cards support copper and fiber interfaces as well as single-source, video wall, and Multiviewer functionalities. These cards all perform as SDVoE receivers, support UHD RGB/4:4:4 8bit, 4:2:0 10bit, and 12bit HDR signals respectively.

SDVoE SDM cards are equipped with a 10G copper interface or a Fiber SFP. The fiber models use LC fiber connectors and support up to 300 meters on a multi-mode fiber or up to 10 Km on a single-mode fiber.
